It was a new record for homes sold and prices in May. Sales were up 7.2% at 1,497 single family units. The shortage of homes for sale is actually holding back the sales levels, with only 1.5 months supply of homes for sale. Buyers are being forced to make pretty fast decisions, especially for homes priced in the $200’s. This makes it a GREAT time for sellers, and especially sellers who want to move UP into more expensive price ranges. We are in the unusual situation of actually having more homes under contract and pending sale than we do homes FOR SALE!
